It was interesting to meet the new CEO of Aerospace Bristol, Sally Cordwell, who leads a fantastic local attraction which demonstrates the great aerospace heritage in our area. It also has a STEM learning centre, which will help to inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists.
Good to return to Cattybrook Brickworks today to meet Jon Rogers and discuss their strategy to deal with the rising energy prices, the global energy markets and the integrity & security of energy supplies.
Today, I dropped into UWE Bristol during the Freshers' Fair. A really exciting event with a fantastic atmosphere. Great to see all the clubs & societies available to students at our local University.
During Organ Donation Week, I visited the NHS Blood &Transplant HQ in Filton with the Minister of State at the Department of Health and Social Care, Will Quince.
Earlier today I attended a service at St Peter's Church Filton and signed the Book of Condolence for Her Majesty. You can do this tomorrow from 10:00-13:00 and all day Sunday. On Sunday evening at 18:00 there is a special service of Commemoration for the life of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Today the Proclamation of His Majesty King Charles III was read in Kingswood Civic Centre by Cllr. Sanjay Shambhu, Chair of South Gloucestershire Council. God Save The King.
I was privileged and hugely honoured to speak in the House of Commons today, during tributes to Her Late Majesty The Queen, on behalf of the people of Filton and Bradley Stoke.

This evening I attended a wonderful service at St. Peter's Filton, which honoured the life of Queen Elizabeth II. It was great to see so many people there.
