It was great to meet with Rachel, Martin, Karen and Joe from Stagecoach at their depot on Gypsy Patch Lane who were very enthusiastic about the prospects for their Bristol operations.
I am honoured and delighted to have been re-appointed Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party by Chairman Nadhim Zahawi, with a particular focus on engaging with the Armed Forces and Veterans groups.
Honoured to take part again in the annual Patchway parade and remembrance service yesterday. Lots of support from the local community with the Royal British Legion, Patchway Town Council, Navy, Army and Airforce Cadets as well as many others in this year's parade.
This morning I met up with fellow veterans at the Combined Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club, which was great. The next meeting is on December 17th, 0930 at the Toby Carvery, Woodlands Lane.
Over this Remembrance Weekend I was privileged to be invited to participate in multiple events to honour the sacrifice of those who have fallen in the service of our country.
