Today I spoke with West of England Combined Authority Mayor, Tim Bowles - we discussed the newly created West of England Economic Recovery Board that the Mayor launched earlier today, and will help our regional economy restart and renew as lock down is eased.
I was very pleased to be able to help out Southern Brooks Community Partnerships delivering food to vulnerable families across our area this afternoon.
Many thanks to all of the local volunteers who are coordinating the community effort.
During my regular telephone update with Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire CCG today, we discussed NHS provision for non-COVID cases which are available this weekend.

Today I participated in an All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Aerospace meeting via #Zoom, and then voted in a trial of the new online House of Commons voting procedure.
This afternoon I spoke to the North Bristol NHS Trust for a weekly update on the Nightingale Bristol, PPE and the roll out of testing, which is currently based Bristol Airport, to health workers.
