Speaking during a Ministerial Statement on Counter-Daesh today, I raised the vital importance for the British Government to actively help Governments in both Baghdad and Erbil, to work together and resolve differences in military and political matters.
Further to meeting with BEIS Minister Nadhim Zahawi MP. I spoke in a House of Commons debate about the aerospace industry's challenges. I highlighted how vital the industry is to our local area and our country, I also focused on government support so far and set out what further support we need.
Today I held one of my regular surgeries, this time all by telephone.

Highly constructive meeting with representatives from Airbus and Unite.
Together we will work to ensure our aerospace industry prevails through this crisis to remain one of the world leaders when the economy begins to recover.
Good to see my friends Muhammad and Bhatti, and catch up with them at the Willowbrook Centre today.
Their businesses are now back trading again after lockdown.
Great to see churches beginning to open. Thank you to all at Staple Hill Methodist Church this morning, a lovely service.
Huge credit to all volunteers who have been working hard to ensure the church was ready for today, and able to hold a socially distanced and safe service.
My first pint of real ale in a pub for longer than I care to remember!
In The Swan Hotel, Almondsbury; not far to walk back to my home in Bradley Stoke. Next job is to find an Indian restaurant within walking distance!
After a very breezy walk at lunchtime in Severn Beach, I went across to Staple Hill to support the high street there.
I bought some lovely fruit from The Fruit Tree.
Good to see a lot of the shops open.
Met Morph in The Mall Cribbs Causeway earlier, a shame my youngest son Clifford isn't here. He loves Morph and watches him on Youtube.
Great to see a lot of people at the Mall today.
