Deeply concerned about the announced job losses at Rolls Royce. My team and I have spoken to Rolls Royce at a corporate level and with trade union representatives. I have addressed this with Ministers in Westminster and I visited Rolls Royce this week.

It was a pleasure to be in St. Ives with my friend and colleague Derek Thomas MP. We visited the Penzance Community Fire Station. It was an honour to meet Armed forces veterans and serving fire fighters and thank them for their service. Local volunteers showed me the lovely Veterans’ Garden.
Yesterday, I had the great pleasure of meeting Hazel from The Wave in Easter Compton. They have had a great year, are passionate about giving back to the community, and are more than self-sufficient with green energy.
