After meeting Prof. Ieropoulos at one of his regular surgeries, Jack accepted his invite to visit the Bristol Robotics Laboratory at the UWE Bristol Frenchay Campus to see the work that his team are doing.
From MBDA, Jack accompanied the Minister of Defence Procurement to Airbus’ facility for a tour of the manufacturing plant where the wings for the A400M Atlas are produced.
Before the returning to Westminster for the September Parliamentary session, Jack welcomed the Minister for Defence Procurement Harriett Baldwin MP to Filton to visit some businesses that make up our region’s world renowned defence and aerospace industry.
On Friday Afternoon, Jack and the new West of England Metro Mayor Tim Bowles visited Buckingham House in Filton to have a tour of the refurbished living quarters as part of National Housing Association’s Starts at Home Day.
At the start of September, Jack joined members of Frenchay Residents’ Association to celebrate that their village pond, Becks Pool, had been brought back into local ownership after a generous loan from two donors.
On Tuesday, Jack began his day at the Mall at Cribbs Causeway having a meeting with Intu, M&G Real Estate and Retail Managers to discuss the proposed expansion to the Mall that will bring nearly 3000 jobs to our area.
