Nice to meet Avakash Patel - the new proprietor of the Your Village Shop at Stoke Gifford Retirement Village. Great to discuss his plans for refurbishing and rebranding and the exciting prospect of a post office counter. I look forward to attending the grand re opening!
Earlier today I met with staff and consultants at the Willow Surgery at the NHS Downend Health Group. We discussed issues local residents had had and they promised to follow up and respond to me on them.
Today I had a productive meeting in Emersons Green with local Police and Crime Commissioner, Mark Shelford, where we discussed special constables, veterans in the judicial system and shoplifting prevention.
