As Chairman of Conservative Friends of Ukraine, I hosted a reception at Conservative Party Conference entitled ‘Courage and Heroism’ in which we also heard from former Prime Minister Liz Truss, Defence Secretary Grant Shapps, Defence Procurement Minister James Cartlidge, and Conservative Friends of Ukraine Director Maria Tymofienko.
In addition, I chaired a roundtable discussion titled ‘Give them the tools and they will finish the job.’ Panelists James Cartlidge MP, Alexander Kamyshin, John Patton and Oliver Waghorn discussed trade and security links.
