Today I asked the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Kwasi Kwarteng if the Government will commission a Rolls-Royce Small Modular Reactor (SMR), as part of further investment in our national infrastructure, job creation and to secure our sovereign energy supply independence.
