Today, in his capacity as Conservative Party Vice Chairman (Policy), Jack met with Conservative Policy Forum members, Local Government Councillors and Number 10 Special Advisors at a round-table event in Downing Street to discuss how transportation needs vary enormously across the country.
The discussion included an exploration into how the pandemic has impacted on workplaces, commuting trends and the broad range of factors which influence levels of car dependency and demands on public transport.
Commenting after the session, Jack said:
A very interesting and productive Transport policy meeting with members of the Conservative Policy Forum and Advisors at No.10 this afternoon. Lots of excellent ideas and contributions!
