As the local MP and Co-Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Apprenticeships, Jack was invited to attend the Airbus annual recognition of learning awards on Tuesday evening - and announced the winner of the award for Best Performance in the 1st year to Steven H!
Commenting on the event, Jack said:
I’ve been a passionate advocate of apprenticeships for many years and the benefits they bring to individuals, businesses and of course our great country. I know Airbus apprenticeships and Graduate Schemes are highly regarded and I believe this is a really pivotal time to be beginning a career in this industry. The pandemic has changed our lives and the way we work forever and has accelerated the need for digitalisation, AI and disruptive technologies – all of which I know Airbus is actively investing in.
