During November, Jack attended a number of Remembrance services and parades across the Filton & Bradley Stoke constituency.
In his capacity as local MP, Jack had the honour of laying wreaths at MOD Abbey Wood, St Mary's Church Almondsbury and at the Patchway Remembrance Parade.
Commenting during Remembrance month, Jack said:
The act of national remembrance which flows through all our communities and lives is poignant and personal to me, as indeed it is for so many of us. We must never take for granted the fact we live in a free country and remain mindful that this is only because of the sacrifices and service of previous generations and the willingness of our current servicemen and women - who do whatever it takes to keep us free.
Jack added:
I was privileged to attend and take part in a number of Remembrance services and parades during November and it was an honour to lay wreaths in memory of those who sacrificed and paid the ultimate price for our freedom. We will remember them.
