The Government has announced that South Gloucestershire will move into Tier 3 when national coronavirus restrictions end on 2nd November. This means the area is on Very High Alert.
Many businesses, such as shops and gyms, will be allowed to reopen, as will places of worship. However there remain strict limits on meeting people indoors from outside your own household, and hospitality businesses like pubs and restaurants can only open for takeaway customers.

Commenting on the restrictions, Jack Lopresti MP said:
While I'm disappointed that Filton and Bradley Stoke is in the highest tier, we all need to do our bit to beat the virus and make sure that we can move down into a lower tier as soon as possible.
My office team remain on hand to help if any constituents need help or advice as we approach Christmas.
