National Apprenticeship Week!
Since 2010, nearly 5 million apprenticeship programmes have been created across the country; with over 9000 in the Filton & Bradley Stoke constituency!
Commenting this week, Jack said:
Apprenticeships provide candidates with a fantastic additional option to further education, with the distinct added benefits of earning while learning and often without any need to take student loans - whilst developing new skills and beginning a new career path.
On Tuesday, in his role as Co-Chair of the All-Parliamentary Group for Apprenticeships, Jack participated in an ‘Ask the apprentice’ Zoom meeting to hear of the experiences, challenges and achievements of apprentices across the country.
Commenting after the event, Jack said:
It has been really good to hear from a broad range of apprentices across the country today. With over 5 million apprenticeships having been created since 2010, we are clearly making great progress, however, we must continue to raise awareness of the fantastic benefits of apprenticeships.
