Today Jack visited The Wild Place at Blackhorse Hill just north of Cribbs Causeway, Jack commented:
'I had a great visit to the Wild Place where we discussed their ongoing conservation work and their plans for expansion which I fully support, The Wild Place do some great conservation work with 80% of animals in targeted conservation programmes. They also do a great deal of engagement with UWE with 400 students in Veterinary Science and Conservation having placements and work experience, going up to 600 when the park is fully completed. The Wild Place will be a major attraction with an estimated 713,000 visitors every year with the Wild Place expected to be fully completed in 2025. The Wild Place has numerous animals to enjoy; Cheetahs, Zebras, Wolverines, Bears, Wolves and many more, I also got to feed the giraffes! The Wild Place is a fantastic day out and I would really recommend it.'
