This morning, I had the great pleasure of meeting representatives of the Taxi Charity For Military Veterans for Military Veterans like Ian, Simon and Bill who are collecting funds alongside Chelsea pensioners like my good friend Alf originally from Patchway, Peter and Nobby. They’re collecting to fund journeys to Normandy to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, alongside their regular objectives: to work for the benefit, comfort and enjoyment of military veterans from all conflicts, to the best of our ability.
