This evening, Jack met with scouts, group leaders and parents of the 1st Stoke Gifford Scouts for a Q&A session with their local MP.
As Jack was in his Westminster office, the event was conducted via Zoom, with the scout group quizzing Jack through a large projector screen.
An interesting and broad range of questions were put to Jack, including; 'a day in the life of a MP', why Jack stood for Parliament, his professional pre-politics career and how debates and democracy works.
Commenting on the event, Jack said:
"I thoroughly enjoyed meeting with the group and I was delighted to learn that following the Q&A session, they conducted a real-life debate, in order to put their debating skills to practice! As a honorary scout myself, it was great to take part in such a well-run and well supported scouting event."
