Today Jack asked Defence Minister James Cartlidge how the MOD ensures prompt payment to UK (defence sector) subcontractors, wherever they are in the supply chain. The Minister affirmed that MOD standard condition: DEFCON 534, stipulates that all subcontractors should be paid within 30 days.
